Jeffery LaGrange is Director of the St. Mary Parish Sales and Use Tax Department. He has accumulated 29 years of experience in the collection of local sales, use, occupational license and hotel occupancy taxes. Mr. LaGrange has been a member of the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators (LATA) since 1991 and President of the organization in 2015.
Jeffery earned his B.S. Finance from Louisiana State University 1990 along with Notary Public 2001 and Certified Tax Examiner 2003. Jeffery is also a member of the Louisiana Government Finance Officers Association (LAGFOA).
Mr. LaGrange has served his community in many organizations such as Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Patterson President, Wax Lake East Drainage District Chairman, BSA Scoutmaster, Cypress Sawmill Festival Chairman, Dixie Youth Baseball Board and Coach, and Knights of Columbus Council #1710.
